Dialectical Behavioral Therapy or DBT is a practice developed for the purpose of treating people with borderline or borderline personality disorder. Patients with this discomfort may experience anger or emptiness. They may even be depressed, anxious or even suicidal. The reason is that they have a low capacity to tolerate their frustration and suffering. To overcome this problem, dialectical behavioral therapy is currently proving to be an excellent treatment option. DBT is a cognitive-behavioral treatment that combines acceptance and dialectical strategies as well as several mindfulness exercises. The goal is to enable patients to decrease and eliminate their personality disorder.
