Psychosis

Psychosis

Psychosis is a mental illness, rather it is not a disease in itself but rather a set of symptoms associated with several different mental problems. It causes people to have difficulty in differentiating between what is real and what is not. Drug-induced psychotic disorders are characterized by “hallucinations” or “confusions” due to the direct effects of a substance (Drugs). The main treatment of psychosis and avoidance of relapses are the combination of medication; an essential basis for the treatment of psychosis; and psychosocial interventions including psychotherapy. Every patient engaged in a cure under the psychotic medication responds differently to treatment.
